so far as my rogress is
is there only 1 thing i can do for some progresses of my soulreaver 1 remake MOD
my 3rd map making season is about to start
and kicks in in october 2009

i wrote a letter to simmulation about my plan but this was his reaction

BTW YELLO + ME AND CYAN IS SIMMULATION

hi thx for helping me once
but i need new cvars and a new player model

my character model has to behave like this
jumpheight = 350
highjump(from crouch) = 450 (or more)
gliding function by pressing a key in jump(holding jumpbutton while pressing alt or another key)
so i can glide long distances from ledge to ledge

no health cuz the player devoures the soul from his victim by pressing d or another key

and block pushing pulling (90 180 270 360 degrees only) and toppling a box or moving it ontop of another box while in crouch

new weapons : sword,spears,telekinese
new features : glyph magic (6 of them)
movements : swimming grapple enemies and throw them

enemy features : waving state (sort of unconcious)untill impaled or touch water fire or sunlight area's

i think it's much asked but you know..........i recreate soulreaver 1
take a look out there it's worth it

You can't add features like this just by adding new CVars. You will have to do extensive work in the SDK, scripting and def files for this.
It will be difficult to find a coder who will be able to commit to this work I'm afraid. There are not many idTech4 SDK coders, and those that I know are all busy with their own mods.

I hope you find someone that can take the work on; that map is very impressive.

Sure, you can make pretty much any changes you like to the gameplay using the SDK. You just need the right people to do the work.

but that's awesome
if i can find any sdk men
they can arrange it


and i'll can just make 1 step at-a time
i 've a script to rotate doors instead shifting ones

and i can work on theese huge worlds -------------

btw are you familliar with legacy of kain ?




my last question kept unanswered so i glipped away from the material world
leaving my hopes unfettened
my only hope is hopefully i find such people who can work for me at zero budget

do i have to create a webside for this so people can register to work as vaulenteer ?
a webside name as Doom 3 mod Legacy of Kain

Please try to understand my clannies it's a waste when this project dies
there are so many people on the web who want a next legacy of kain game
and i don't want to disappoint them

another thing == i'm about to work as a team for another legacy of kain project

but 1 thing is certain

ive tried going to forums like doom3world and stuff and no one is willing anymore. not many people interested in working as a team
